Can I dive in Hurghada if I have never dived?
Yes. You do not need a card in your pocket and you do not need to swim like a champion. On the first day we do not chase metres. We teach you to breathe underwater and we stay next to you.
How the day actually goes
- Morning
- We pick you up at the hotel. On the boat there is coffee and a short talk: what you can do, what you are afraid of. That talk matters more than any video you watched at night.
- At the ladder
- The gear is fitted to you, not pulled from a communal pile. First the mask at the steps. Then we go down together.
- Underwater
- Someone is beside you the whole time. If you stop, we stop. Fish come closer when nobody is waving for a photo.
- Back
- Same transfer home. If the day sat well in the chest, write about tomorrow while the salt is still on your skin.
What to bring
- A swimsuit.
- Sun cream if you burn.
- The rest stays at the hotel. Towel and gear are on the boat.
What you can leave on shore
- Experience. That is the point of this day.
- Your own kit. We bring it.
- The feeling that everyone else already knows. On a private boat there is no crowd you have to impress.
If the thought already feels warm, write. We set the day around you, not around a cattle boat timetable.

Why not the hotel boat? The hotel desk sells a seat on a packed boat. That day can be fine. It is also loud, timed, and you share the guide with a dozen cameras. A private day is quieter. You work with Reda, and the water here is the classroom.
